Теория и практика рукопашного боя | Theory and Practice of Hand-to-hand Combat
It has long been noted that holding a punch in combat takes much less time than using a technique of throws. It is especially good to use punches in defense against several attackers, when the defending player is experiencing a time deficit. But if the opponent has initiated close contact, they must be brought down using the technique of throws. But the match does not stop on the ground, in a lying position, either, and to neutralize the opponent, one must use painful holds and choke holds. This book is dedicated to how to defeat the opponent from any position and with the use of various techniques.
The book is split in two sections, the first one being theoretical, which includes 9 chapters in which the readers get acquainted with the detailed history of the development of hand-to-hand combat, with pedagogical methods of teaching and upbringing, with the basics of planning and the organization of the educational process. Also described are the methods of physical and tactical preparations, detailed classification and systematics of a vast technical arsenal are published. In the second part of the book, which bears the title of a practical training course, the technique of strikes by various parts of the body, the technique of throws, painful and choke holds included in the system of sports hand-to-hand combat are described. The course is designed for five years. It is scheduled according to a special algorithm: shock technique is studied during one lesson, methods of wrestling, both in standing and lying position are examined during another. Such a separate study of biomechanically different technical skills allows students to master them more qualitatively and quickly prepare a versatile fighter capable of fighting using any technical skills. The book is universal, it is written in the form of a short-term plan in a simple language understandable to any contingent of readers, and well illustrated with more than 5,000 drawings. This great methodical work will be simultaneously useful as a reference material for coaches and athletes and as a ready summary of practical exercises. As the practical experience shows, it can be used in the long-term learning process at various departments of physical education, both military and civilian, in universities, as well as in children's sports schools, patriotic clubs, etc. In addition, such a book can serve as a good gift to a specialist in martial arts at any level.
